Just wanted to send a quick message sharing with you some news that Kristina and I got the other day. Kristina's brother Matt's girlfriend, Kirsten, plays softball for the Great Britain National Team. Born in the UK and growing up in Southern California, not to mention playing softbal for Loyola Marymount University for 4 years, she has been travelling throughout Europe with the team for the past few weeks.
Anyway, Kirsten just told us that her team would be playing in the Championship game of their tournament, and that qualifies them to definitely attend the World Championships in Oklahoma next year! Very cool huh! Check out the pictures below, Kirsten is the third from the right in the first pic and fourth from the right in the top row of the second pic.

Strangely enough, Kirsten isn't the first softball star I've been lucky enough to know! My cousin played softball for the University of Arizona a few years back, and they won the Softball World Series!
Kirsten is a wonderful person who deserves all the success she is achieving. Wish her luck as they go into the championship game!
